BROKEN

Such joy that felt like the sunlight which kissed away one's innocence,
Piercing so hard the trusting heart that beats calmly in dark silence;
Nourishing it with tenderness which was shown in sweet penitence,
With promise of eternity that death alone has reverence.

This made my days so inspiring as I faced each given challenge,
Nothing was so impossible there were some ways for cold change;
Emotions flowed naturally never feeling ever so strange,
They filled the heart with abundance that never thought of some revenge.

But no life is ever perfect that has brought us some wounded hearts,
All different kinds of human pain are inflicted with many starts;
We helplessly turn embittered and live so pained in a few parts,
In brokenness, life's seen colors are always dark like cruel darts.

If eyes could shed some scarlet tears to ease that cruel killing pain,
When some hatred begins to boil but to avenge isn't a gain,
There is one thing I just can do, on bended knees, I still remain,
Inner healing I do covet, and inner peace I must attain.

Broken pieces are so scattered that we can't just put all them back,
We feel helpless to mend our lives we just leave it in a broken stack;
Hopelessly torn and wasting on, we can't place it in a pack,
Only the One great Creator can mend it well with such no lack.
